KVE believes the essential part of our mission to Engage, Retain, and Reactivate students is accomplished through comprehensive monitoring, tracking and reporting. The Student Information System (SIS) provides an expansive amount of data to system administrators, teachers and parents.
For Parents
KVE's iTEAM program is specifically designed to encourage parental involvement at every level. When parents log in to our Student Information System (SIS), they have access to video orientation tutorials that explain the virtual educational program and outline what they can expect as the parent of a student in an online environment.
Parents/guardians and students can receive daily updates on a student's current average and progress in each course by logging into the SIS. They can also request notifications or periodic grade reports be sent automatically to their email or mobile phone.
For Administrators
The SIS provides reliable ways for teachers and program administrators to measure enrollments, engagement, online experience, and overall satisfaction, so they can be reported, discussed and improved upon as your program grows.General reports include activity, pacing, communications, and contact history data.
To ease the registration process and allow more efficient entering of student information into the SIS there is bulk registration, as well as single student registration forms.
The SIS also includes email templates for teachers that can be sent to a single student or the entire class. Topics include zero grade warning and positive feedback, among others. Plus, all communication is tracked with the SIS to document student/teacher interactions.
